Project Description

WorkingBuildings provided commissioning services for this hospital expansion project during design, construction, acceptance, and warranty phases. The systems included in our scope were HVAC, Electrical, Fire Alarm, Security Access, Nurse Call systems, and Infant Abduction systems.

This two story expansion project doubled the women’s center in size to accommodate the growing needs of women’s health in Cherokee County. This project expanded the NICU unit to 15 rooms available to sick and newborn babies. Patients now have access to specialized medicine typically needed, including respiratory support, advanced imaging, retinopathy screening, and diseases of the eye typically effecting newborn babies.
